General and emerging trends, issues and concerns will be communicated to the industry via the outreach activities.<br />  <br /> Technology transfer will take place as firms begin contracting with CFI for technical development or market analysis on project-by-project basis.<br />  <br />  <font size=\"3\" color=\"#000066\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Outreach Plan</span></font><br />  <br /> The outreach plan involves two primary features. The first is the CFI-Industry Roundtable to be held annually. The Roundtable will focus on an emerging theme as the focus of a one day session with presentations by CFI experts and outside experts to industry and Pennsylvania government along with sessions involving participant interaction. Both food service and food manufacturing agendas will be addressed in the Roundtable.<br />  <br /> The second feature is a biannual publication that highlights the general and emerging issues in food innovation for the food service and manufacturing industries.<br />  <br />  <font size=\"3\" color=\"#000066\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Additional Member Benefits</span></font><br />  <br /> Additional member benefits include being part of an alliance that bridges industry and academia that can inform the research and training agenda at Penn State University. As a result, better trained graduates will be produced to feed into this industry and emerging research can translate quickly into practical solutions.</font></div>';
