Top Regional Tournament
The Memorial Day Shootout is hosted each year at Family First Sports Park – a “world class” soccer complex in Erie, PA. The tournament features regional and state champions from the tri-state area and Canada. There is a strong showing from clubs in major cities like Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Buffalo, Rochester as well as Toronto, Canada.
The tournament attracts more than 12,000 players, coaches and spectators – along with 50 NCAA Division I, II and III coaches who come to scout some of the best regional talent.
The Memorial Day Shootout continues to attract top quality teams to the tournament year after year. In part because of the competitive level of play and tournament’s professional administration; but the thing that really sets this tournament apart is the spectacular venue, which offers top quality playing fields in one location, and includes a variety of recreation and entertainment options in between games for attending players and coaches. Only 150/175 teams will be accepted but over 200 teams are expected to apply for the 2011 event, so register online early. Accommodations include a 116-room, air-conditioned Housing and Conference Center located at the complex and within walking distance of your game fields and several host hotels. Hotel accommodations must be booked online using the online housing reservation system. Teams not willing to use our hotel service need not apply.
